I’m not whining, I promise.
Its just that lately it’s occurred to me that as much fun as I’ve had sharing tutorials here on my blog, I kind of feel like I’m hiding behind them a little bit. I seem to be writing more from a technical place rather than from a place of authenticity. I’m still learning about this slippery art of blogging, so I have decided to take a more relaxed, broader approach and share a little bit more of myself with you, my readers.
I realize that the blogs I love reading most are the ones where I feel like I know the blogger. Hopefully learning a little bit about me from time to time may help you feel the same way. Don’t worry though, I LOVE posting projects and tutorials. They’re not going away.
One thing I would like to share is that besides being a crafter, I am also an artist. Mainly, I like to paint in watercolor, although recently, I haven’t painted as much as I’d like to. I am just now getting back to it, and I’m planning on using some of my images printed on fabric in my upcoming sewing projects.
I am currently experimenting with several different kinds of printable fabric sheets, the kind you can print on an inkjet printer, and will be posting my results. I’m really looking forward to combining two of my creative outlets together. Stay tuned, we’ll see what happens! But then again, that’s what being creative is all about, right?

Loving your watercolors! Very much. It is a tough medium to handle and you do it beautifully. I am so glad you have decided to share this side of you!

Thank you so much, Pam! You’re so sweet to leave a comment! I’m working on a project that incorporates some watercolor images on fabric. I’ll be posting it soon.
