I finally finished the latest project I have been working on: A cover for my boring black computer bag.
I was going to make myself a different bag altogether to carry my computer in , but the truth is that the bag I have is very functional: it’s the right size and has nice padding to protect my laptop. It was just BORING. So I thought I would keep the function, while hiding the corporate-ness of it with a creatively JOYFUL slipcover.
This pic shows the other side. I have been experimenting with printing on fabric, so I thought for this project I would use a couple of my watercolors in the design. I am really happy with how it turned out. It feels much more like “me”.
I must thank my next door neighbor for the worn out purple denim jeans she gave me a few months ago. I found the perfect use for them. I am now obsessed with purple denim and must find more!
I will be posting a tutorial in a couple days but in the meantime, does anybody else out there have any tips about printing on fabric?

Very nice. You need to make them and market them. I would buy one!
