I’ve been a bad, bad blogger. The kind that goes away for a while and totally ignores their blog and their readers. But I’ve been doing a lot of work, just the kind that is on the inside that is not readily visible. So I ask your forgiveness.
The past month or so has been wonderful for me. I’ve worked through some personal issues, I participated in a wonderful 2 week teleseminar given by the amazing Jennifer Lee based on her book “The Right-Brain Business Plan” (more on this in upcoming posts), and I have really examined what my own creativity means to me and how I want to present that to the world. What I’ve discovered is that what I’ve been doing is just a fraction of what I’m capable of, and what I was sent here to do.
In a way, I’m Refashioning my fledgling business, this blog and my life. I want all three to be reflective of the authentic “me”. So, I’ve decided to go back to my core love of art, drawing and painting and start to keep a sketchbook again. I allowed myself to do nothing but work in my sketchbook this entire weekend! What an awesome indulgence! Here’s a peek. I am excited to use some of these designs on fabric!
This one was inspired by my craving for grapefruit. I’m on a medication that doesn’t allow me to eat it any more!
These are two of my kitties, Ernie and Wasabi.
