I’m Kathleen Jackson and I’m a watercolor and mixed media artist. I love to sew as well, and I try to use repurposed and recycled materials in my work when I can. I always try to make something new from something old, to give it new life. I like to think that in honoring the creativity inside myself, I am refashioning my life as well as recycled materials.
I live in Michigan with my wonderful partner, Colleen, who is also an artist, and our furry children: 3 small, yappy dogs and 7 sweet cats.

Hi Kathleen! I’ve been enjoying your blog, and especially love your tutorial for the recycled wool leaf scarf. I post a recycled wool tutoria every Tuesday on my blog (Tutorial Tuesday!), and will feature yours tomorrow, if that’s ok. I’ll post a picture, a brief introduction, and a link to your tutorial. Thanks so much for the fun idea!
